STA Vision

Southern Tier Alpacas is a group of small farms located in the southern tier and surrounding counties of New York and Pennsylvania, whose vision is to build on the established reputation of its members, providing quality alpacas, products and services to the alpaca breeder. The group is diversified, with a wealth of information and expertise in all aspects of the alpaca industry. Through our website, sponsored events, and educational opportunities, our vision is that people can come to STA members with confidence and trust that we will offer alpacas and their products with integrity, supported by years of experience.

We are always looking for members to join or help on any one of our committees. It is a wonderful and rewarding way to get to know the industry, other member farms, and to promote your own farm.

By-Laws

From the very beginning of STA, its members have worked diligently and collaboratively to educate and assist its participating members, as well as those people outside the association. Our association's by-laws were developed with the goal to establish clear ethical guidelines that would serve as our organizational foundation and facilitate our efforts in serving the community of new and existing alpaca breeders.
