Ausable Valley Freestyle

Log Cabin Alpacas now has full ownership of Ausable Valley's Freestyle. Freestyle added to his Blue Ribbon performances, by taking a 1st place at the 2010 Empire Extravaganza by beating alpacas from Magical and Abenacki Acres farms. Freestyle also place 2nd at the VAOBA Fleece Show in October.

Freestyle inherited all that is good and desirable from his parents. His fleece has great character every where you look - blanket, neck, hip - all are spectacular. His fleece is fine & dense. Freestyle has good heavy bone and a nice square, well conformed frame.

Freestyle has amazing lineage not only from his champion sire, Peruvian Lancaster, but from his dam who has Felix, Hemingway, and Don Julio in her linage.

Freestyle just gets better looking and his fleece gains more character and density everyday. Freestyle began breeding this summer(2010).

Comments about Freestyle at show:

3rd place at the Empire show under Judge Charlene Freidman. The brown classes were very large and Judge Freidman was very complimentary of Freestlye. Comments included: A well put together young man. Attractive head with a topknot indicating density. I was not disappointed when I looked further. He exhibits a dense, uniform fleece with an impressive staple and very soft handle.

4th place at the 2008 Futurity under Amanda Vandenbosch. The class was 15 bay black and the competition was fierce! The judge's comments included: A strong proud young male who carries himself with an air of importance. Exquisite bone on a correct frame carrying fine, nicely organized fleece.

1st place blue at the very big and very competitive North American Alpaca Show under Mike Safely!

MAPACA judge Tim Lavan's comments in awarding a 4th place in a tough class: "A proud, strong, well-conformed male who moves beautifully in the ring...appreciate the soft handle to an impressive staple providing total coverage on his heavily boned frame"

Freestyle's first cria, a clone was born to Log Cabin Alpacas in July. He are anxious ot get him in the ring to follow in his sire's footsteps. Freestyle has 3 confirmed pregnancies for 2012 crias.
