Our Mission Statement:
The mission of Cushing Ranch Alpacas, Inc. is to promote the alpaca industry by breeding to produce high quality alpacas and alpaca fiber. We strive to be a reputable farm through honest dealings with others who are involved in the alpaca business, those interested in becoming involved in the industry, and those interested in merely learning more about these lovable animals.
Farm Description:
Welcome to Cushing Ranch Alpacas, Inc., Chemung County’s premiere alpaca farm. We began preparing our alpaca ranch in the summer of 2005. Our roughly 9 acre property is located in the Town of Erin, New York. We are a small, family friendly alpaca farm, and we’d love to introduce you to our amazing alpacas!
Our foundation herd of 2 pregnant female huacaya alpacas has grown to 13 animals; 8 females and 5 males. We're anxiously awaiting the arrival of our next cria in August.
At Cushing Ranch Alpacas, customer service is a priority. The small size of our farm allows us to provide personalized, hands-on service to our customers. If you're considering raising alpacas, we'll help you every step of the way. We understand the importance of having a mentor to help you as you begin your journey. We'll gladly work with you to develop affordable payment terms so that alpaca ownership can become a reality for you.
We offer: alpaca sales, agisting (boarding), breeding, mentoring, shearing, transportation, and gift shop. Gift Shop Hours (Until 12/23/11): M-Th 3:30 pm-7 pm, Fri 12:30 pm-7 pm, Sat and Sun 10 am-6 pm; (After 12/25/11) : M-Th 3 pm-6 pm, Fri 12:30 pm-6 pm, Sat 10 am-6 pm.
