Superstition has a number of cria on the ground now. The ones we have seen are remarkably dense. He had a bay black boy out of a black dam, a fawn girl out of a silver grey dam (who took third in a class of 12 at the Empire Extravaganza), and a copper colored dark fawn girl out of a bay black dam. That last one was born at our farm, Nyala's Peruvian Apparition and is dense, dense, dense with an incredible copper sheen to her bright fiber. Super has had many more cria since then. The ones we have seen have all been incrdibly dense with Super's proud conformation! Superstition is incredibly fine, 16.8 microns at his second shearing, and remarkably dense. He has a medium-frequency, low-amplitude crimp from top-knot to tail with crisp tight bundled locks. He has a wonderful soft handle, and he covers black. Super has a great head with and his cria so far have looked just like him. If you want to make proud fine, dense, crimpy cria. Superstition is the word. Super is exactly what judges are looking for in the ring right now he's very dense and he's very fine. Check out Black Beauty his blue ribbon winning black daughter!

Superstition is proudly co-owned with Julie and Mike Delaney of Irish Meadows Alpaca Farm in Iowa.
