Nyala is proud to welcome the newest addition to our herdsire row, in partnership with Ideuma Creek Alpacas. Accoyo Ironman is a fawn full accoyo male. He annually shears nearly 15 pounds of fleece (counting just prime and seconds only). For reference, a typical alpaca yields around 5 pounds of fiber on a yearly basis (or even less). Ironmans sire and dam are both medium fawn full Accoyos. Ironman is known for producing aggressively crimped, extremely dense long stapled fleeces. Ironmans older sibling (a half sister) has won many first place awards, including the fawn halter class at AOBA National. His mother (Accoyo Pperuvian Rosmery) and father (Accoyo Pperuvian Victor) have been blue ribbon winners as well. Victor is deceased, making Ironman a rare and valuable bloodline to add to a breeding program. Use Ironman to add density, staple length and crimp to your breeding program. He has produced a blue ribbon winning fawn (Shar-pei), a blue ribbon winning brown (Kieran) and a champion gray (Citation) so far. We just had our first Ironman cria born on our farm and he's a lovely fawn boy we named Ironclad in honor of his old man!
