Quenti is 5/8th accoyo with Caligula, Victor and Camilio in her pedigree. The remaining 3/8th is alianza. Quenti emerged covered in crimpy dense ringlets, honestly when we saw her fleece all dried off we just gasped. Quenti just sparkles in the sun. Quenti looks so much like her mother I keep getting them confused. She's a tiny bit lighter but otherwise just as lovely with a bolder accoyo style crimp. If I didn't know better I would think Andy had cloned Ruvi and made Quenti in his lab. Quenti's mom Peruvia is one of our favorite alpacas with HUGE tree trunk legs and crimpy bright fleece. Peruvia is a champion Caligula granddaughter. Quenti's father Magneeto is blue ribbon fawn full accoyo with Camilio for a father and Victor for a grandfather. She is the granddaughter of our beloved full Alianza Champion-maker Elsa. We were really hoping to get another girl from this line and here she is. The "Elsa-line" has made two champions for us (Peruvia and her brother Elsinore). Quenti has been bred to the legendary full Accoyo Express. We will include one additional breeding for her to any of our available herdsires and we have two unrelated accoyo boyos that could be bred to her to make a 13/16th accoyo with a bit of alianza added in too. If you want to go the other way and try for more Alianza we have a rare full Alianza black herdsire who is also unrelated to Quenti. Quenti's name means hummingbird in Incan and we thought this was a nice name for her as her mother once caught a hummingbird in her fleece. We bought her mother when she was a tiny cria and it was one of the best purchases we ever made! Quenti is bred to the legendary Accoyo Express we had planned to do a number of breedings to Express this year but that is going to be impossible so we want to hold on to her cria and are taking her off the market until after her baby is born. If it turns out she is not pregnant we will put her back on the market bred to one of our Accoyo boyos.
