HaSu Ranch breeds and sells superior Peruvian Suri and Huacaya Alpacas to new and established breeders. We are dedicated to breeding alpacas that produce a dense, uniform fleece across the entire animal. We are focused on the three main factors of the alpaca fiber market: fiber fineness, uniformity of fleece and increased shearing weight. Our services, designed to educate and assist alpaca breeders at all stages, include alpaca seminars, marketing consultation and development, breeding program assistance, brokering and farm planning, and many more. We work hand-in-hand with our clients to ensure their successful entry into the alpaca business.

CHAMPION BREEDING PROGRAM:
Our breeding program, built on solid scientifically tested techniques, has allowed us to create a herd of champion suri and huacaya alpacas in all colors. We have about 60-80 alpacas on the farm at any time, with an equal balance of suris and huacayas.

Our stud row includes champion suri and huacayas in a variety of colors. Our goal is to breed a genetically superior alpaca that produces high volumes of fine fleece. HaSu Ranch Alpacas hosts numerous educational alpaca seminars during the year. HaSu Ranch Alpacas is conveniently located off Interstate 88 half way between Albany and Binghamton New York in the beautiful Catskill Mountains. We are close to number of popular attractions, such as Cooperstown, the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Soccer Hall of Fame.
